Ocean Death Toll For Five Years

Ocean Death Toll For Five Years

Ocean Death Toll is now into its 9th horrifying year.

It’s vitally important to keep track of just how far into the global ocean pasture crisis we are as evidenced by tragic great ocean dyings!

We must bear witness to these events, this ocean holocaust, only by doing so will we be empowered to act to prevent more of the same.

We can and must do something read how everywhere on this blog about how we can restore the oceans to historic health and abundance.

Join me, lend a hand, in years to come you will be more disappointed by the things you did not do, than of the things you did do!

READER BEWARE THIS LIST IS DEADLY AND WILL DISTURB YOU.

Here is a partial death toll of ocean deaths from January 2016 looking back to 2011. It has over 200 reports in the last year alone from around the world! Take note these are reports that are associated with just the coastlines of the worlds oceans where we humans live, notice, and report on such events. Ocean shorelines represent less than 1% of the oceans! It is safe and horrifying to say that the real scope of the crisis is 100 times worse!

While restoring ocean pastures would not prevent all of these horrible dyings there can be no question that a substantial number of these ocean life cataclysms  could be avoided..

This list of news reports illustrates the scope of the ocean crisis. It’s a poor list in so far as far more reports are available but creating a really good database of such things has been beyond my capacity.

(I am sure Google could use their Hadoop data mining skills on their vast database of everything and create a fabulous ocean crisis database but alas I don’t know anyone at Google to make such an appeal to.)
